-The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011)

Mom and I went to the little artsy theater near us to see this film. It was very cute and a little sad. Judy Dench, Maggie Smith, and Dev Patel are amazing in it, but the whole cast is magnificent, as is the cinematographic treatment of India. Gorgeous film. Lots of beautifully complex love stories. I cried a lot.

Overall, this film about white people finding themselves in the Far East is significantly better than the dumb Julia Roberts one.

Just saw this film today and it was great, with excellent actors, a good story and I absolutely loved the cinematography - they had beautiful shots of India. Although it was a bit scary that I was the youngest in the audience - everyone could’ve been my grandmother or at least my mother. Odd enough. But if you have the chance, go and see it. :)
